The dates of these incidents has been from January 29, 2025 through present day and continues.
John Darge has been threatening me including telling me “ you better hope and pray you never need police fire or EMT assistance because you will not get it” and that was proven true when I called 911 when a pit bull was attacking our Amazon driver and police refused to come because it was me calling. He is stalking me, harassing me, commenting on personal posts on social media about me, taking pictures of me at my home, slandering and defaming me and my animal rescues name, causing emotional distress to me and my minor child, we are in fear for our life and safety of myself, my son, my rescue animals and my home. I’m accosted in my own home by Steger police. Police engage in contact which interferes or damages my property.
Him and the department created significant mental suffering, stress, anxiety, panic attacks, nightmares, emotional distress, physical breakdowns from the stress, fear and worry and alarm on behalf of the John Darge and the asteger Police Department. The continuous driving by our home or sitting outside our home watching us is beyond out of control and this needs to be dealt with immediately.
I was asked by the Steger police department and numerous members of the community to help on a case where dogs were being left outside 24/7 year round. During my investigation it became clear that the department had no clue what the laws were and all of the misconduct, lies and immature conduct they were doing was all being caught on cameras. The harassment and retaliation from them began when they made a public press release basically calling me a liar. John Darge has even stated that “ALL of my pictures and videos are fabricated and untrue” yet the press releases have made them look stupid as they show the police were the ones lying and NOT me. I have requested multiple times the body camera footage of all the events from my investigation to prove the misconduct from multiple officers as well as the chief or police and the DC. I was s even attacked by the home owners of the animal abuse house while my minor child was in the vehicle and all the officers just stood there and let them attack without ever trying once to intervene or stop the attack. There were numerous witness to this as well. There is way to much evidence, videos, pictures and audio to share in just this complaint but I have no problem meeting with someone. And why are several of these officers on the Brady list for police misconduct amongst other things still allowed to continue doing misconduct?

Failure to protect a disabled person and a minor child and Intimidation tactics on a whistleblower are also huge issues with this department.
