I was pulled over for “tinted taillights. He asked to search my vehicle, I said no. He was mad. He said he was going to run my license, but got his dog out of his car instead. Walked dog around my truck twice, his dog sat down and was looking at my dog in my back seat. He then threw a ball and hit my truck. He said his dog hit on my truck and got me out, to search my truck. I was in my driveway, so he let me get my dog out, and put him in the house. Him and 2 other officers began searching my truck. After about 3-4 minutes, officer Earnst exited my truck. He then put his right hand in his front pants pocket and pulled out his closed hand. Officer Biehl was standing next to me, I said” did you see what he just done?” He turned his back to Earnst and said nothing. Officer Earnst got back in my truck and about 15 seconds later, got out and handcuffed me. Stating he observed what looked like meth in a soda bottle in the cup holder. He then retrieved the bottle out of my truck. I asked where was the cap, he said he took it off. He cut the bottle opened and took a baggy with white powder out of it. I asked him to fingerprint the baggy. He said they don’t do fingerprinting. I told him i just took a drink of that soda, and that baggy was not there. I know for a fact that he planted it, I just can’t prove it. 13 months later, after 3 request, we got the video from states attorney. I seen it, and believe it’s been altered. I have a public defender that is overloaded with cases. I think he also knows the truth, but is afraid to stand up to them.
