My understanding is that a fugitive named Arnold/Arnoldo Gutierrez Jr. had active felony warrants from multiple counties (including Hidalgo, Webb, and Nueces) between approximately 2020–2025. Instead of arresting and properly processing him on those warrants, authorities accepted his accusations, and those accusations were used as the basis to pursue charges against me. In my view, this is a clear example of a failure to investigate or to test the credibility of a key accuser with an extensive fugitive background. This led to innocent people, including myself, being wrongly targeted while the actual fugitive continued to be released and re-arrested.
